Surgical Training Programs and Educational Activities
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the participation in educational programs, courses, events and training activities organized by Brazil Surgery Hub (BraSH).
By registering for any program, course, workshop, webinar or educational activity organized by BraSH, the participant agrees to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Brazil Surgery Hub (BraSH) is an international educational platform dedicated to advanced surgical training in medicine and dentistry, including clinical immersion programs, cadaver laboratory courses, scientific meetings and educational collaborations.
BraSH is headquartered in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil.
2. Educational Nature of Programs
All programs organized by BraSH are educational training activities designed to improve professional knowledge and surgical skills.
Participation in a BraSH program does not grant medical or dental certification, professional licensing, or authorization to practice medicine or dentistry in any jurisdiction.
Participants are solely responsible for complying with the professional and regulatory requirements of their respective countries.
3. Participant Eligibility
Participation in BraSH programs is limited to:
licensed healthcare professionals
residents or postgraduate trainees in health sciences
final-year students in recognized medical or dental programs, where permitted
BraSH reserves the right to request proof of professional qualification and to deny participation if eligibility criteria are not met.
4. Registration and Payment
Registration for courses and programs is confirmed only after:
completion of the registration process
acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
confirmation of payment or deposit
Program fees may include educational activities, materials, and logistical support as specified in each course description.
Travel, accommodation and personal expenses are generally not included, unless explicitly stated.
5. Program Changes
BraSH reserves the right to make adjustments to programs when necessary, including:
modification of schedules
replacement of instructors or speakers
changes in venues or partner institutions
adaptation of practical sessions for safety or ethical reasons
Such changes will not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
6. Clinical Training and Surgical Participation
Certain BraSH programs may include clinical observation or supervised participation in surgical procedures.
Participants acknowledge that:
surgical procedures are performed under the supervision of licensed professionals
patient safety and institutional protocols take absolute priority
participation in procedures may vary depending on clinical circumstances and ethical regulations
BraSH does not guarantee a specific number of surgical procedures for each participant unless explicitly stated in the program description.
7. Cadaver Laboratory Training
Some training activities may involve cadaver-based anatomical laboratories organized in collaboration with universities or anatomical institutes.
Participants must comply with all institutional ethical rules and laboratory regulations.
Due to ethical, institutional and logistical constraints, cadaver laboratory sessions cannot be modified, repeated or refunded once confirmed, except under conditions specified in the Refund Policy.
8. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner throughout all activities.
BraSH reserves the right to remove any participant from a program without refund in cases of:
violation of institutional rules
actions that compromise patient safety or the learning environment
9. Health, Safety and Insurance
Participants are responsible for:
their own health insurance and travel insurance
ensuring they are medically fit to participate in training activities
complying with all health and safety regulations applicable to the program
BraSH is not responsible for medical expenses, accidents or personal incidents occurring during travel or participation in programs.
10. Intellectual Property
All course materials, presentations, educational content, videos and training materials provided during BraSH programs are protected by intellectual property rights.
Participants may not reproduce, distribute, record or commercially use any materials without prior written authorization from BraSH.
11. Image and Media Authorization
During courses or events, BraSH may capture photographs, videos or recordings for educational and promotional purposes.
By participating in BraSH programs, participants grant permission for the use of their image in institutional communications unless they expressly request otherwise in writing.
Patient privacy and confidentiality are always respected in accordance with applicable laws.
12. Limitation of Liability
BraSH acts as an educational organizer and facilitator.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BraSH shall not be liable for:
professional decisions made by participants
medical outcomes related to procedures performed outside the training environment
travel disruptions or logistical issues caused by third parties
damages resulting from misuse of educational information
13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
Any dispute arising from participation in BraSH programs shall be submitted to the courts of Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil.
14. Policy Updates
BraSH reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions when necessary.
The version in force at the time of program registration shall apply.
