REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all educational programs, courses, workshops, clinical immersion experiences and events organized by Brazil Surgery Hub (BraSH).
BraSH is committed to transparency and fairness in its financial policies while also considering the logistical, institutional and ethical requirements involved in organizing advanced surgical training programs.
By registering for any BraSH program, the participant acknowledges and agrees to the conditions described in this policy.
2. 7-Day Right of Withdrawal
BraSH offers a 7-day refund guarantee from the date of purchase.
Within this period, participants may request cancellation and a full refund of the amount paid, without the obligation to justify the reason.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing through the official contact channels indicated on the BraSH website.
3. Refund Conditions After the 7-Day Period
After the initial 7-day withdrawal period, refunds may no longer be guaranteed.
Due to the nature of surgical training programs and the logistical commitments involved, cancellations made after this period may be subject to the following conditions:
the registration may be transferred to a future edition of the same program, subject to availability
administrative or institutional costs already incurred may be deducted where applicable
Each request will be evaluated individually.
4. Special Conditions for Clinical Immersion Programs
Certain BraSH programs include clinical immersion experiences involving real patients.
These programs require coordination with hospitals, clinics, surgical teams and patient scheduling.
For this reason:
cancellations made close to the program date may not be eligible for refunds
BraSH may offer rescheduling to a future training group when possible
Patient safety and clinical logistics always take priority.
5. Special Conditions for Cadaver Laboratory Courses
Courses involving cadaver-based anatomical training are subject to strict ethical and institutional regulations established by partner universities and anatomical institutes.
Because cadaver specimens must be reserved and prepared in advance, the following rules apply:
the 7-day refund period applies only if the request is made shortly after purchase and well before the course date
after this period, refunds are generally not possible
In exceptional cases, and at the discretion of BraSH and the partner institution, the participant may be allowed to:
transfer the registration to a future course edition, when available.
6. Participant Replacement
If a participant is unable to attend a course, it may be possible to transfer the registration to another qualified participant, provided that:
the replacement meets the professional eligibility requirements
BraSH is notified within a reasonable time before the program begins
BraSH reserves the right to approve or reject participant substitutions.
7. Course Cancellation by BraSH
In rare circumstances, BraSH may need to cancel or postpone a course due to factors such as:
insufficient enrollment
institutional or laboratory constraints
health or safety considerations
unforeseen logistical circumstances
In such cases, participants may choose between:
transferring their registration to a future course date, or
receiving a full refund of the course fee
BraSH is not responsible for additional expenses such as travel or accommodation booked independently by participants.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment platform or financial institution.
BraSH is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers.
9. Travel and Accommodation
Unless explicitly stated in the program description, course fees do not include travel, accommodation, visas or personal expenses.
Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.
BraSH is not responsible for travel disruptions or associated costs resulting from program cancellations or rescheduling.
10. Policy Updates
Brazil Surgery Hub (BraSH) reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy when necessary.
The version published on the website at the time of registration shall apply.
